Imagine, if you can, 4 million spectators taking to the streets of Boston eager to catch a glimpse of a Tall Ship or two by land, throngs standing for hours under a sweltering heat for a chance to walk aboard a vessel for a brief tour. Yikes. Alright imagine instead stepping aboard a fully outfitted and air conditioned MBL vessel who in the course of 90 minutes will enable you to get up close to most of the 50 vessels participating in the 2017 Tall Ships week. While sipping a cold beverage, enjoying the cool sea breezes you will hear an animated narration detailing the qualities and characteristics of each of the Class A vessels; as we make a slow and wide loop of the Boston’s inner harbor, taking in the vessels alongside the docks of Eastie, Charlestown, the North End, and the Seaport districts. With a bag lunch you brought from home and your friends and family on either side of you what better way to kick-off the summer than creating a memorable experience all will enjoy! Dinner afterwards at one of the many nearby restaurants will cap off a day not soon forgotten.
Cruises run every day from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Hint: The earlier cruises are less crowded, and if you’re sun sensitive more comfortable, and make for better photographs!
